10 Minute Dollar Tree Paper Craft Idea

For this DIY craft, you’ll need:

1. A craft, blank picture frame from Dollar Tree
2. One pack of paper from Dollar Tree
3. Modpodge
4. Stickers from Dollar Tree
5. Hot Glue
6. Paint of choice
7. Two brushes

Here are the steps to take.

1. You’ll want to start with a blank picture frame like this one from Dolalr Tree.
2. Remove everything from it, including the middle paper.
3. Paint the back with color of choice. I chose a neutral color from Waverly, Sandstone.
4. While that is drying, take the paper pack and pick two paper types that compliment each other.
5. Pick one paper and trace the picture that came with the frame on to it.
6. Cut it and put it to the side for now.
7. Ensuring the backside of the frame is dry, take the other colored paper and tear into strips.
8. Begin covering the front of the picture frame with the pieces of paper by modpodging them on.
9. Once the entire frame is covered, apply one more pretty heavy coat of modpodge on the top and let it dry for a couple of hours.
10. Using a sharp exacto knife, cut off the excess paper from the outer and inner edges.
11. Take the center paper we cut off earlier and place it in the middle and secure it with the clips.
12. Place a sticker of choice in the center and press firmly to secure it in place.
13. Place the dowel the frame came with in the hole opening in the back, securing it in place with hot glue.
