20 Minute Dollar Tree Christmas Wood Round
The holiday season is all about spreading joy and creating magical moments, and what better way to do that than with some DIY Christmas crafts?
If you’re in search of a simple and budget-friendly project to add a touch of festive charm to your home, look no further! In this blog post, I’ll show you how to create a stunning Christmas wood round using window clings from the dollar store. This incredibly easy and affordable craft requires no special skills, making it perfect for anyone to try.
Get ready to bring the spirit of Christmas into your home with this delightful and pocket-friendly DIY project.
- For this project, the first thing you’ll want to do is get a wood round from your local dollar store.
- You can paint the wood round, but using glossy vinyl instead will allow the window clings to stick without having to use modpodge. However, if you have to paint it, just make sure to have modpodge to attach the window clings.
- Place the white, glossy vinyl over the wood round and ensure all bubbles are removed.
- You can cut off the excess vinyl from the edges, but I have found that sanding in a downward motion really works well and leaves the edges nice and smooth.
- You can add any design to the wood round, I decided to add these window cling ornaments from my local dollar store.
- You can place as many as you’d like, I decided to keep it simple and added three ornaments towards the bottom portion of the round and at different levels.
- You can now add faux, greenery picks to the top. I hot glued a few different everygreen picks facing in opposite direction.
- I also added one pine cone in the center of it with hot glue.
- I then placed silver pipe cleaners from each ornament to the greenery. This gave the illusion that the ornaments were hanging from the branches.
- Finally, I added ribbon to the back to be able to hang it!
That’s it! How easy and inexpensive is this Christmas wood round!?
