Welcome! Today, I’ll show you how to create a charming and budget-friendly fall door wood round for your door. As autumn approaches, what better way to welcome the season than with a touch of festive elegance at your doorstep? In just a few simple steps, I’ll guide you through the process of transforming an ordinary wooden round into a stunning fall-themed masterpiece.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner, this Fall door wood round is perfect for anyone looking to add a cozy and inviting touch to their home decor this fall season. Get ready to embrace the beauty of fall with this easy and inexpensive DIY project!
- The first thing you’ll want to do is get a wood round from Dollar Tree. I grabbed this one, which was left over from the summer season.
- I sanded it smoothly and wiped it very well.
- I painted the bottom half white so that it would lighten the surface. This will ensure the design will not bleed through the vinyl.
- Cover the bottom half with white vinyl from Dollar Tree.
- Remove the excess vinyl from the edges by sanding it down or cutting it off.
- Cover the top half with blue vinyl and remove the excess vinyl from the edges as the previous step mentioned.
- You can add any graphics to the bottom half of the wood round. I decided to add window clings from Dollar Tree. They are beautifully designed, and they stick to the glossy vinyl perfectly.
- You can add as many clings as you’d like. Ensure that they all have a cohesive look to them.
- You can add bows to the top of the wood round. I stacked two bows on top of each other and hot glued them to the top of the wood round.
- I added greenery to each side of the bows, hot gluing them under the bow.
- Add a vibrant color flower to the center of the bows. This is optional, but I think it adds tons of color and character.
- Add ribbon to the back to be able to hang it.
And that’s it! What a beautiful and easy Fall door wood round anyone can make this fall season!
