20 Minute Fun & Easy Christmas DIY Craft
Welcome to our festive Christmas blog post! In this post, I’m excited to share a quick and easy project that can be completed in less than 20 minutes. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just starting out, this craft is perfect for everyone.
For this project, we’ll be using a Dollar Tree picture frame and a gift bag to create a unique and beautiful Christmas decoration. The best part? It’s incredibly affordable and can be customized to match your holiday decor.
To begin, gather your materials: a Dollar Tree picture frame, a festive gift bag of your choice, and any additional embellishments you’d like to add, such as ribbons or ornaments.

Grab yourself a picture frame from Dollar Tree or any you have lying around.
Remove everything from it, including all the clips, but keep the back cardboard near. We will use it in a bit.
Lightly sand the frame and wipe all dust away.
You can leave the frame in the original color, or you can paint in the color of choice. I painted this one white, and after it dried, I lightly distressed it.
Get yourself a festive Christmas gift bag, specifically one that has a design in the center.
Cut off the front side of the bag and adhesive it to the back cardboard that came with the frame.
Using a sharp blade knife and very carefully, cut off the center design.
Attach the design on the top of the frame using hot glue.
Add a small piece of foam to the middle, top frame with hot glue.
You can now add any greenery and embellishments you’d like to the foam. I added greenery picks from Dollar Tree, a pine cone, and some frosted berries.
And that’s it!
