20 Minute Christmas Wreath on a Budget!
The holiday season is upon us, and it’s time to deck the halls with festive cheer. But what if you’re on a tight budget? Fret not! With a little creativity and a dash of DIY magic, you can create a stunning Christmas wreath without breaking the bank.
In this blog post, I’ll show you how to craft a beautiful wreath using affordable materials and simple techniques. I’ll guide you through the step-by-step process of designing a budget-friendly Christmas wreath that will impress your guests and add a touch of holiday magic to your home.
Get ready to unleash your inner artist, and let’s dive into the world of DIY Christmas wreath crafting on a budget!
- For this project, I started with a brass wreath ring set from Dollar Tree.
- I used the medium size one of the three rings.
- Open the ring on one side by cutting with wire cutters.
- Thread Christmas bulbs onto the ring. You can use any color combination you want, I decided to stick with red and gold.
- I filled the ring until it was about half full.
- Once you have the bulbs in place, add a dab of hot glue at each end to secure them in place.
- Join the cut ends with duck tape.
- Cut several greenery and colorful picks of choice.
- Arrange them in a swag style and join them in the center with rope and hot glue.
- Cut a small piece of foam
- Add hot glue to the top
- And place the taped portion of the ring on top
- Then add more hot glue and add the swag on top of it.
- Grab jute string and tie it around the foam and swag and tighten around a few times and tying it in a knot to really secure it in place.
- Add any ribbon you’d like that compliments the design around the middle portion. Wrap it around a few times
- And then tie in a tight knot on top, leaving some long strands to be able to hang the wreath.
- Add a poinsettia in the middle of the arrangement with hot glue.
And that’s it! What a beautiful Christmas wreath and on a budget!
