  1. The first thing you’ll want to do is get two plastic bowls from Dollar Tree. You can find these in the plastic ware isle or the party isle.
  2. You’ll also want to grab battery operated string lights.
  3. Find the halfway point of the string lights and add a piece of clear tape to it.
  4. Tape it to the inside of the bowl that will be on the top.
  5. Add hot glue to the rim of the bottom bowl, ensuring you do not add glue to the exposed wire. Then, place the other bowl (the one with the string lights taped to it) on top of the bottom one. It’s important to remember to leave the batter pack outside of the bowls.
  6. Find a piece of log or anything you can use as a “stem” for the pumpkin. Add permanent glue and hot glue to it.
  7. And place it on top of the top bowl.
  8. Now you can add any decor you want to it. I made two simple bows,
  9. Stacked them on top of each other.
  10. And tied them in the center with jute string.
  11. Hot glued the bows in front of the log, on top of the bowl.
  12. You can add as many embellishments as you’d like. I added a faux leather leaf, a pine cone, and a small foam acorn to it.
  13. And that’s it! Now you have a beautiful, custom, light-up pumpkin for your Fall decor!
