So, grab your favorite napkin, gather your crafting supplies, and let’s get started on this spring DIY adventure together!
The first thing you’ll need is a wooden heart from the dollar store . Remove everything from it, sand, and wipe very well.
Paint the front in the color of choice. I painted mine white.
Choose a napkin of choice and remove all extra plies leaving the top one.
Once the heart is dry, add a layer of modpodge to the front.
Lay the napkin over the wet layer or modpodge. Straighten as needed, ensuring most bubbles are removed.
Once dry, sand down the edges with a sanding block, removing all excess napkin.
At this point, you can add whatever you’d like to the front. I decided to add a wooden “love” word on the middle right side.
Flip it over and hot glue ribbon to the top so that it could be hung.
You can also add faux florals to the front top. I added greenery and bright, pink flowers.
